fuckin' hacks out there today seem like they think they're called "nailfuns"! UHH, NEWSFLASH: YOU'RE ONLY SUPPOSED TO NAIL THE TOP PLATE DOWN INTO THE STUDS, NOT BETWEEN THEM! you ain't carpenters you're wood installers

not to be a contrarian callie but i would argue that nailguns made the noble art of putting nails in the those planks easier, and therefore respectable and good. now, i myself am more of a fan of square-cut nails rather than our slim modern wire nails. you couldn't make a commercially viable nailgun for that. but it is better to carpent with any tools than to not carpent at all
